We’re a social community that is committed to empowering our followers to build a social circle throughout Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow through fun, inclusive and accessible events.
Sunrise Social Leinster is for everyone, and after a tough 18 months, we want to build a powerful community where no one is left behind, where everyone can connect with new people, expand their circles, go out of their comfort zones and try new things.

Established in August 2021, Sunrise Social Leinster has a team of five volunteers, aged in their 20s/30s, (Aisling, Caoimhe, Cathy, Laura and Sinéad) who plan events at least once a week, and sometimes two depending on the week. All events are free (bar associated charges such as brunches etc) and take place in locations across Leinster. So far we’ve had some amazing events including:
-A sunset swim at the 40 Foot in Sandycove
-A hike along the Howth Cliff path
-Watching the sunset over Killiney Hill
-A weekday sunset hike to unwind after a long week in work.

Each week, one of the amazing team of volunteers takes turns to plan and organise an event, with all events posted on our Instagram page and added to Eventbrite, where we ask attendees to register so we can keep track of numbers.
While Sunrise Social Leinster is still in its infancy, we have loads of amazing activities planned over the coming months and we’ve also recently launched two monthly clubs – a monthly movie club that meets the last Friday of the month and a monthly brunch club meeting the first Sunday of the month! Coming up soon we’ll also have some fitness classes, day trips around Ireland and lots more!

Following what has been an incredibly difficult 18 months for everyone, and while many people continue to work from home and adapt to this new way of living, Sunrise Social Leinster is important in our community so that as we move beyond the pandemic, we can make new friends, try new things and get our social lives back on track – and what better way to do that than over tea and snacks, watching sunrises and sunsets with new friends.
